Single-Topic Intensives
3-hour Saturday morning intensives designed to supercharge your progress on a specific topic. Maximum depth, maximum results.
Explore Workshop TopicsIntensive Learning
Unlike regular group classes that follow a progressive curriculum week to week, Focus Workshops dedicate an entire 3-hour Saturday morning to zoom in on one specific topic for maximum depth and hands-on practice.
Think of them as a magnifying glass for your playing. You pick the skill you want to sharpen, and we spend the entire session breaking it down, practicing it, and applying it to real music.
Workshops are designed to accelerate your development in targeted areas, whether you are breaking through a plateau or building a new skill from scratch.
Workshop Topics
Each workshop targets a specific area of guitar mastery. Choose the skill you want to level up.
Master the fretboard inside and out. Learn scale patterns, note locations, and navigation techniques to unlock the entire neck.
Break free from patterns and develop your own voice. Learn improvisation, phrasing, and creative approaches to soloing.
A comprehensive deep-dive covering technique, theory, and musicianship. Build a complete foundation that connects all aspects of your playing.
Play with other musicians in a structured jam session. Learn to listen, respond, and contribute to a group musical experience.
Analyze songs from the inside out. Study structure, harmony, melody, and arrangement to understand what makes great music work.
Write your own original music. Learn songwriting techniques, lyric craft, chord progression theory, and how to bring your ideas to life.
Workshop Format
Every workshop follows a proven three-phase structure across a full Saturday morning. Three hours of focused, hands-on instruction to supercharge your progress.
Your instructor breaks down the topic with clear explanations and live demonstrations. You will understand the "what" and "why" before picking up your guitar.
Guided exercises where everyone plays along. Your instructor walks the room, gives real-time feedback, and makes sure you are building the skill correctly.
Put the skill to work in a real musical context. Play through songs, progressions, or jams that use what you just learned so it sticks.

What Participants Say
"Travis was able to analyze where I was at in my playing and provide me with the exercises I needed to best reach my goals. I've had other guitar lessons in the past, but none as good as those with Travis. I genuinely look forward to my lesson each week. Can't recommend him enough!"
- Phillip Troyer
"After about two months with Travis my understanding of the fretboard and building blocks of music theory has grown significantly. I am finally seeing patterns that are allowing me to progress to play creatively and break beyond the bounds of basic tablature."
- Nick Vallera
